From Classrooms to Monuments: History Comes Alive

We spent the afternoon strolling through the surrounding landmarks, taking in breathtaking views of the Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol building from the base of the monument. Students enjoyed taking photos, sketching the scenery, and discussing what they had learned in class about America’s founding. The highlight of the day was riding the elevator to the top, where we were rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the city. By the end of the trip, everyone left with smiles, memories, and a deeper appreciation for the history that shapes our country.
